Richard is a Principal at Catalyst and has five years' experience in finance, M&A and transaction services.

Richard works alongside our Partners and Directors to deliver all types of deals including company acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs (MBOs), fund raisings and strategic reviews, acting for business owners, management teams, corporates and private equity.​

He has supported the delivery of a number of deals including the management buy-outs of YSC (2017) and Belfield Furnishings, the sales of Entanet to CityFibre, PS Financials to IRIS Software, Texon to South-East Asia-based Navis Capital Partners, Sofa Brands International to a consortium of financial investors, Allen Ford to South Africa's Super Group and Rhead Group to Costain PLC.

Richard is also a member of Catalyst's Industrials sector team with a particular focus on the automotive sector.  

A graduate in Accounting & Finance from Durham University, Richard qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC where he spent four years within their audit division. Richard joined Catalyst in 2013.

Away from Catalyst, Richard enjoys motor sports and athletics.
