Jamie is a Partner at Catalyst with over 19 years' corporate finance experience.

His particular focus is on advising owners and management teams of high growth businesses, principally in the TMT and Business Services sectors, on private equity, growth capital and trade sale transactions. This often involves a period of mentoring ahead of a potential investment or sale.

Recent deals led by Jamie include the sales of Entanet to CityFibre, PS Financials to IRIS Software, Adapt to US-based Datapipe and Bluefin Solutions to India-based Mindtree; the investment in CSI; the growth capital investment in Exclaimer and the management buy-out of Wellbeing Software Group.

Jamie leads Catalyst's TMT sector team. As a native of Birmingham, with long established corporate and professional connections, he also spearheads our presence in the West Midlands market alongside Andy Currie and Richard Sanders.

A graduate of Nottingham University, Jamie qualified as a chartered accountant, subsequently spending four years in the corporate finance team at Ernst & Young. He joined Catalyst in 2003 and became a partner in 2009.

Married with two young daughters, Jamie is keen on any sport and can be found trying his hand at wakeboarding and skiing - desperately trying to keep up with his daughters, however, age and talent are making this increasingly difficult.
