Catalyst have a new Spanish deal maker, Elena Boixaidos, our third new recruit of 2010.
Elena joins the firm for 12 months secondment from Norgestion, Catalyst’s Mergers Alliance partner in Spain.
Elena joins Catalyst from the Barcelona office of Norgestion with four years experience of the Spanish M&A market. She is a graduate from ESADE business school and completed an MBA at the same University.
She has a wide range of knowledge of corporate finance transactions from her work at Norgestion and prior to that in the Corporate Finance department of Grant Thornton. At Catalyst she will advise on MBOs, fund raising, company acquisitions and disposals, as well as being a member of the support services sector team. In addition to this Elena will help further drive Catalyst’s bilateral work in the Iberian region following on from last year’s sale of Spanish based Iasist.
Andy Currie, Managing Partner at Catalyst commented, "The importance of and commitment to developing our international work is the main reason for Elena joining us for 12 months. We see our international work as a key focus for our business development, giving our clients access to potential buyers and sellers and also assisting overseas businesses in their acquisition searches in the UK."
