Paul Spires
Paul is a Principal at Catalyst and has over five years of corporate finance experience.
His chief responsibilities include advising on MBOs, fund raising, company acquisitions and disposals. He is also focused on advising fast growing businesses.

A graduate of Cardiff University, Paul qualified as a chartered accountant at KPMG. He then spent three years within corporate restructuring and recovery, qualifying as an insolvency practitioner and assisting under-performing businesses in turnaround and insolvency situations.
Before joining Catalyst in 2004, Paul lectured in business strategy and management for the ACA, ACCA and CIMA accountancy exams. He is also an Institute of Directors Young Directors Forum representative and enjoys keeping fit and going to the cinema.
