Mark Wilson

Mark is Chief Operating Partner at Catalyst and has over twenty years of business experience gained within corporate finance advisory, private equity and industry. His main responsibilities include directing Catalyst’s research, finance and support functions. He also represents Catalyst on the board of our international partnership Mergers Alliance.

Mark, a graduate from Paisley University, later worked for international logistic corporates UPS and TNT, in Europe, Asia and the USA.

Following the completion of an MBA from Nyenrode University in the Netherlands, he spent five years at Greenfield Capital Partners leading management buy-outs and portfolio disposals. He joined Catalyst in 2004 and was promoted to Chief Operating Partner in 2008.

Outside of work, Mark is an active mentor with the Prince’s Trust, a role he has enjoyed for over fifteen years, is a visiting lecturer at Aston Business School on the MBA programme and enjoys playing golf.
