Catalyst advised the shareholders of TCL Granby on the sale of the business to Curzon Group.   Founded thirty years ago, TCL Granby has established relationships with a number of high profile organisations including BT, NatWest, KPMG, HSBC and PwC. With operations in South and Central London, TCL Granby employs over 100 staff maintaining complex business facilities, many in the City of London.

What difference did we make?

In July 2000 LDC, the venture capital provider to mid-market firms, backed the MBO of the office fit-out business, Jarvis Newman from Jarvis plc to form the Curzon Group.

We identified the buyer from a review of sector deals and made the introductions, negotiated the transaction and project managed the sale from inception to completion. This approach minimised the risks associated with marketing the business and maximised shareholder value by offering the synergistic purchaser early exclusivity.
