Catalyst advised private equity firm LDC on the management buy-out of The Pallet Network (TPN).

Based in Rugby, TPN has grown to become one of the UK and Ireland's leading pallet networks with a stable and committed membership of almost 100 independent transport operators.

What difference did we make?

Catalyst was appointed by private equity firm LDC to assist them complete a deal through a process run by the TPN shareholders.

We worked closely alongside management to prepare a business plan, negotiated with the vendor’s advisors, agreed an opening working capital position, raised bank funding and project managed the deal to completion.

Our greatest challenge in successfully completing the deal was solving complex property and related funding issues (crucial given the nature of the business) during a protracted process.
