Deal Summary

Catalyst advised Original Additions on a refinancing which secured new facilities in a deal valued at £18 million.

Established in 1978 and based in Hayes, Middlesex, Original Additions manufactures and supplies high quality nail products, waxing products, false eyelashes and hair treatments to the retail and professional markets.

What difference did we make?

We first met with the management of Original Additions after a previous sale process had fallen over.

Having impressed Original Additions with our sector knowledge and existing contacts, Catalyst was appointed and the business was refinanced and two shareholders bought out.

Our greatest challenge on this deal was strengthening the management team to enable the business to transition to its new structure.

We assisted in the appointment of a new non-executive chairman and two members of the management team were promoted to the board and provided with an equity incentivisation.
